Chianti

“We will visit towns and villages, we will taste the wine and food in traditional trattorias and spend the day basking in the sun.”

– Claudio

Stretching between Florence and Siena, Chianti is known throughout the world for its picturesque landscape, excellent olive oil and dry red wine made from Sangiovese grapes that has been produced here for centuries.

If you are not wine drinkers, nessun problema! You can spend the day strolling around Chianti’s pretty Medieval villages.

Of course to truly appreciate Tuscany you have to taste what comes out of this blessed land. Artisan cheeses, cured meats, bruschette with seasonal toppings, regional pastas, thick soups, and much more. A genuine experience at the Tuscan table is sure to enchant you in every possible way.

This area of Tuscany is also known for its excellent beef; in fact, this excursion could be subtitled, “Meat Lovers’ Paradise”! There will be ample opportunity to sample some choice red meat, if you like.

Our classic itinerary includes Montefioralle, Greve in Chianti, and Panzano in Chianti (time permitting also Castellina in Chianti) but there are particular places you’d like to visit we’d be happy to customize the agenda.
